Smaller-scale business uses serving nearby neighborhoods, on a 7,500 sq ft minimum lot with a 25 ft front yard and a 100 ft height limit.

B-5Central Business District
Downtown East Hartford, with a 10,000 sq ft minimum lot, no required front yard where consistent with existing buildings, and a 40 ft height limit.

Business district along the Silver Lane corridor, with a 20,000 sq ft minimum lot, 40 ft front yard, 25% maximum building coverage, and a 50 ft height limit.
I-2Light Industry

I-3Heavy Industry

CDRComprehensive Downtown Rehabilitation Zone
Provides added flexibility for commercial and residential uses on B-5 lots fronting Main Street, Connecticut Boulevard, or Burnside Avenue, requiring a 40,000 sq ft minimum lot area.
DDDDesign Development District
A floating zone for large-scale development on a single lot or multiple lots, mapped in three locations as DDD-1, DDD-2, and DDD-3.
IDZIncentive Development Zone
Encourages consolidation of small lots in targeted commercial areas, requiring a 10,000 sq ft minimum lot and 75 ft of frontage on a state highway or town arterial or collector, and permitting B-1 uses.
