UC26-0165 holdover use permit for a K-8 charter school (Matter Academy) with waivers to reduce buffering/screening, modify residential adjacency standards, and reduce driveway throat depth on 6.26 acres in an IL zone. School would open at ~800 students, up to 1,000 at full build-out, 58,000 sq ft two-story building at 35 ft. Commissioner Sagerblum first moved to deny without prejudice, citing the scale (1,000 students, 148 queuing cars on 6 acres) and traffic on Treeline/Vegas Valley, but after discussion the item was held indefinitely (max six months) by agreement of the applicant. Applicant offered to build a signalized intersection as a condition.
