Ordinance amending Title VII Ch. 7.110 short-term rental platform regulations
Amended Chapter 7.110 governing accommodations facilitator platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia). Removes obligation for platforms to police/deactivate listings (per federal court injunction) and adds new Section 7.110.080A requiring platforms to verify a county business license before processing a booking transaction. Applies to platforms only, not STR operators. Motion by Commissioner Kirkpatrick; motion adopted.
