Appeal of Downtown Commission COA denial for demolition at 171-191 South High Street and 200 Wall Street
Quasi-judicial oral arguments on appellant Town High Plaza LLC's appeal of a Downtown Commission 3-3 tie denial of a certificate of appropriateness to demolish buildings. The owner proposed a post-demolition plan to clear, grade, seed and maintain the site with no replacement use. The city Planning Division, through Joshua Cartier, asked Council to affirm the denial. The adjacent Ohio National Bank building, also owned by the appellant, will be preserved. Council will issue a written decision later.
