Coweta County Zoning Meetings

Land use in the unincorporated county is governed by the Coweta County Zoning and Development Ordinance, adopted as Appendix A of the county Code of Ordinances. The elected Board of Commissioners is the governing body that acts on zoning matters, and the county's Community Development (Zoning) Division administers the ordinance and reviews applications. Incorporated cities such as Newnan and Senoia handle zoning within their own limits.
