Amend Council Resolution 402-25 for Six Mile/Fox Drive car wash (remove/modify Fox Drive access condition)
Brandon Grisco, attorney with Fossman and Grisco, appeared on behalf of Manikin Smith Group and property owner 38888 Six Mile Road LLC to amend a condition of a previously approved special land use car wash at Six Mile and Fox Drive. The condition required access to Fox Drive over adjacent commercial property the petitioner cannot control; the amendment would let the developer move a Six Mile approach to enable a $1.2M traffic signal while continuing efforts to secure Fox Drive access. Council raised concerns about a missing/outdated traffic study and whether Fox Drive access would become optional. Item will go to regular agenda with both an approving and denying motion.
