Board and Commission Handbook Adoption

Resolution R-26-2026 adopted the City of Loveland Board and Commission Handbook effective November 1, 2026. The handbook standardizes application and interview processes, expands youth membership opportunities across all boards and commissions, adds communication and media guidelines, and creates an evaluation matrix tool. Term limits will require separate ordinances to implement.

  • Where conflicts exist between old and new handbooks, old handbook governs until resolved through ordinance changes. Phased implementation with low-impact items by June 1, medium-impact by July 31, and high-impact by November 1, 2026.

The other decisions are listed below by title. The full write-up, verbatim conditions, and the audio at each vote are in Pro.
