Employment Sites Program public infrastructure round – Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg
Briefing with no vote. Kimley-Horn's third-party review recommended $750,000 in gap funding for Pinellas Park, which is 13% of a roughly $6M project: a force main replacement and Master Lift Station 30 rehabilitation adding 720,000 gpd of sewer capacity across a 2.74 square mile service area. For St. Petersburg, it recommended $2.2M of the $4M requested on an approximately $18M package for the Lift Station 63 service area, limited to the San Martin Bridge utilities relocation (6 MGD wet-weather capacity). Both projects are in the Gateway target employment area. The item is scheduled for action as Item 20 on Tuesday.
