First Amendment to 2023 Reimbursement Agreement and temporary easements, Ben Hodges LLC greenway bridge

Authorized the First Amendment to the 2023 Reimbursement Agreement with Ben Hodges LLC and conveyance of temporary easements for floodplain benching on city-owned property along Crabtree Creek and for bridge construction access. The public-private partnership builds a bike/ped bridge over Crabtree Creek from Hodges Road, approved in 2023 with the Hodges Street Multifamily Master Plan rezoning at 912 Hodges Street. The developer pays for the roughly $400,000 prefabricated bridge. City reimbursement drops from up to $1.525 million to $579,000, saving almost $1 million. The benching gives the multifamily development a no-rise flood result. Bridge completion is expected in about a year.
