Planning Commission voted to place on a future agenda a motion directing staff to draft a zoning amendment prohibiting construction or use of immigration detention or enforcement facilities anywhere in the city to the extent permitted by law.

Approved planned development for 16 three-bedroom townhome units in four buildings on 0.42 acres. Modifications granted for: two buildings without public street frontage, 14 lots without street frontage, reduced rear yard setback from 25 feet to 10 feet, and increased height from 2.5 to 3 stories (34 feet 11 inches). Developer: Drake (property owner).

Approved preliminary subdivision plat to create 16 individual lots for townhome ownership at 1032, 1036, and 1046 South Jefferson Street.

Approved design review for 72-foot tall L-shaped climbing facility with nine modifications to GMU zone standards including: waiver of residential units requirement, 3-foot reduction from 75-foot minimum height, front yard setbacks of 17-20 feet, reduced ground and upper floor glass requirements, modified building entrance frequency, increased blank wall length to 45 feet on north facade and 25 feet on east facade, facade lengths exceeding 200 feet, waiver of horizontal articulation requirements, and waiver of mid-block walkway requirement. Applicant: VCBO Architecture (Brent Tibbets). Project includes reconstruction of Salt Lake Mattress Company building and public plaza at 300 South and 500 West.

Forwarded positive recommendation to City Council to approve vacation of 16.5-foot wide, 80-foot deep alley between 234 South 600 East and Warnock Avenue, blocked by I-80 freeway right-of-way. Applicant: Jill Genesee.
