SB 707 Community Engagement / Organized Presentation Resolution (Item S-401)
Council adopted a resolution finding the City of San Diego made reasonable efforts to encourage participation from communities that do not traditionally engage in public meetings, and directed the City Clerk to continue outreach initiatives. Establishes new organized presentation process (groups of 2+ can pool time, virtual participants included) effective July 1, 2026, first used July 6, 2026. Motion by Council President LaCava, seconded by Council Member Moreno. Passed 7-0 with Council Members Foster and Von Wilpert absent.
