Living Wage Policy Update with Catch-Up Adjustment
Council approved revisions to Council Policy 3.3 to use Bay Area CPI-U methodology for annual living wage adjustments, effective July 1st at current rate of $26.73. Includes one-time catch-up adjustment to address zero increase in FY 2025-26. Memo authored by Council Members Candelas, Campos, Ortiz, and Casey.
- If Bureau of Labor Statistics discontinues Bay Area CPI-U publication, staff will return to Council with proposed substitute methodology.
