Renew Jordan Creek project update
Staff presentation on the $30 million-plus Renew Jordan Creek stormwater, flood control, and placemaking project in the Jordan Valley Park area of downtown. Two park blocks (east block near Brick City, west port block near Hotel of Terror) about 90% complete; a third block of underground box culverts between Boonville and E Factory about 75% complete. Includes a dog park, pedestrian esplanades along Mill Street and Water Street, and a new Campbell Street Bridge. December 31 contract completion date with a spring opening planned. Next phase would involve the Meeks property purchased by the city four or five years ago. No action taken.
