Annual tax abatement CF-1 compliance review
Council authorized President Tanner to sign the CF-1 compliance findings for all abatement recipients as presented by county economic advisor Steve Dalton, deeming each CF-1 compliant. Companies included AM General, Diversified Real Estate, Ecoplastics, Edcoat, EVS Limited, Grainger Water Utility, Max Plastics, LCI Corporation, Ladex Systems, Prairie View High BTU LLC, St. Joseph Energy Center, Unifrax, and AWS. AWS reported $8.9 billion invested to date (largest in county history), 935 jobs vs. 400 committed, and an estimated property tax check in excess of $12 million. Passed 8-0.
