A-GAgriculture District
Provides for areas on the periphery of the city where agriculture is the predominant land use; protects agriculture from premature urban intrusion and serves as a holding zone. Subdivisions creating lots under five acres require rezoning.
RRural Residential District
Accommodates low-density residential development in areas unlikely to receive sanitary sewers or urban services in the foreseeable future. No area less than 20 acres may be rezoned to this district unless abutting an area already so zoned.
R-1Single-Family District
Accommodates the bulk of single-family detached housing in the city, particularly in newly developing areas with similar existing density.
R-1(B)Single-Family District
Provides for new and infill residential development in older areas of the city substantially developed prior to World War II, allowing compatibility and efficient reuse of vacant parcels.
