US 160 Reconstruction Project construction briefing
CDOT public information managers Meredith Green and Tracy Truelove briefed the joint bodies on the US 160 Reconstruction Project. Project is at 83% completion (about 270 total days). Work includes intersections at 5th, 7th, 300 block, 200 block, and Piedra Road/Harmon Park intersection improvements (islands, ADA ramps, sidewalks, signal enhancements) beginning mid-September. First Street work (one lane alternating 24/7) scheduled this fall. Project slated to be completed by December 2026 before Christmas; punch-list items (permanent striping) may extend to 2027. No vote taken.
