Longsborough Wind Project Construction Update

Mitchell (Elite/Mortenson) briefed the commission on the Longsborough wind project. Special use approval was obtained from Morton County in November; North Dakota PSC hearing was May 18 with PSC approval received August 12, 2026. Financial assurance posted with the state and road use agreement signed with Morton County. Topsoil removal began the prior day; plan to complete ~30 of 57 turbine foundations this year, with turbine deliveries via rail to Pingree starting June 15 next year and back-fed power by August. 55 of 57 permits being assembled. No vote taken.
