Appropriation of National Development Impact Funds ($75,000)
The council appropriated $75,000 from the National Development impact fund. The fund came from ND Acquisitions LLC's one-time payment of $1.50 per rentable square foot for warehouse and distribution buildings on approximately 300 acres at Rentschler Field. The money goes to Elevate Here Festival of Flight ($30,000), Metro Hartford Alliance membership ($25,000) and municipal pools assessments ($20,000). After this appropriation, about $2.4M of the $4.05M fund remains. Approved unanimously on a voice vote.
