What happened
On October 27, 2026, the Planning Board recommended approval of Election of Alexander Pine as Planning Board secretary (unanimous).
The Lewiston Planning Board took no formal land-use action; its main substantive item was an informal discussion of a proposed four-lot subdivision with a frontage right-of-way at 209 Webster Street (2.1 acres, NCA zone), where the 72-foot front lot would be 3 feet short of the 7…

Pre-application discussion: frontage right-of-way subdivision at 209 Webster Street
Informal feedback, with no vote, on a sketch splitting the 2.1-acre lot at 209 Webster Street (NCA zone, existing single-family home) into the existing home lot plus three rear lots, served by a private 40-ft frontage right-of-way with a T-turnaround. Taking the right-of-way from the 112-ft frontage would leave a 72-ft front lot, short of the 75-ft lot-width and circle-diameter requirements in Article 5, which the board may waive. Most members were open to a full application with abutter notice. Marcotte opposed a waiver as precedent-setting. Members suggested a planned unit development approach, a waiver on the right-of-way width instead, and an ordinance review of right-of-way standards within six months. Renee Roy represented the owner.
