Catharpin Valley Estates CPA Initiation
Request to initiate CPA to change long-range land use of 292 acres from AF Agricultural and Forestry to RN3 residential for a mixed-use residential neighborhood (up to ~1,390 units, high end ~2,700). Applicant is NVR. Staff recommended not initiating to RN3 but offered alternative initiation to CRES 1C (max 584 units). After extensive debate, the Board deferred to a date certain of July 21, 2026 on a substitute motion by Supervisor Vega, seconded by Supervisor Bodie. Motion passed 7-1 with Supervisor Angry voting nay.
