Special Use Permit for Commercial Recreation Area southwest of S 87th St & Hawaiian Dr

Approval of a special use permit to allow a commercial recreation area in the AG (Agricultural Farming) District on approximately 71.18 acres, legally described as Tax Lot 26A in Section 27, Township 13N, Range 12E, generally located southwest of S 87th Street and Hawaiian Drive. Long Island Gravel Company, owner, proposes one additional cabin between the Papillion Gun Club and Long Island Lake; cabin relocated north/east from original site due to wetland and well-housing concerns raised by City of Papillion. Site is in AE flood zone. Passed unanimously.

  • Comply with all applicable floodplain development regulations including elevation of structure
  • letter of concurrence from Papillion Gun Club
  • operations plan and emergency plan submitted as required by planning commission
  • conditions noted in the recommendation report
