NV Energy request to construct three 345kV transmission corridors (Mira Loma, Comstock Meadows 1 and 2) within easements across land zoned industrial and forestry, with some easements encroaching estate zone land, outside the official master plan transmission corridor and with additional tower height. Mira Loma is ~15.6 miles, Comstock 1 ~12 miles, Comstock 2 ~4 miles. Of 11 landowners crossed, 8 have signed affidavits/easements and 3 remain in eminent-domain proceedings (including Sunny Hills Ranchos). Sunny Hills opposed, citing incomplete application and master plan nonconformity. Board continued the item to August 4, 2026 to review contact logs and clarify landowner negotiation status.
